22° here, though it's sunny with not a cloud in the sky so it says it feels better

Sounds like a nice day to me

After hunting I usually make it through the winter alright. Been shoveling snow in jeans and a tee with gloves and a neck gaiter

Suspected the block heater on the truck shit the bed but I guess I just haven't been giving it enough time to heat up. According to the multimeter it's still good :homer:

Truck will start down to zero EZPZ without being plugged in. Ford really got it right with the 6.7l. it Probably would start colder but I like to be nice and plug it in when it gets below freezing.

It's time for an oil change on the cruiser so I'll probably do that. And right now I'm running into town while everyone still out and about or doing Church things so I can get a head start on Christmas shopping

I'm up to two tries on really cold days to get the cruiser to start. I'm pretty sure it has a leaking injector and it loses prime. Only really seems to bother it when it gets cold though and the fuel gets a little thicker

Hmmmm. Does it have a cold start injector?

Have you run any winter fuel additives in it? They make a big difference in the diesels so I'm curious about getting some for the Taco

The 1FZ and the 2JZ were some of the first EFI systems to drop all the legacy EFI stuff that they came up with in the late 70s and 80s to counteract things they didn't know how to tune for yet. So no cold start injectors here, no weird wax controlled vacuum systems either

Wow what a boring looking blob from the 2000s, I can't immagine how that would have looked new in the eyes of someone 15 years ago
