salad diet is every day. I usually buy lettuce and whole veggies to make my own but the premade one was on sale.

Space Dust is a nice IPA, but damn it's pricey at the store for a 6 pack. Like around $12 -$14. At least around here. At the bar/restaurant it's usually one of the better priced ones though

No I don't think so but I'm not really an IPA fan

I really need to get mine done again, been a few years. My primary care doctor left the practice like 2 years ago and I just haven't gotten around to finding another. I don't even really care who my doctor is, I just pick a name and go. But yeah...I need to do that lol. Haven't been to a doctor in a few years

I never really bothered me till recently, now friends and acquaintances are getting sick with the kinds of stuff we always felt invincible toward as teenagers and 20 year olds. Starting to feel a little more mortal lately lol

Plus I know my blood pressure is too high, every time I get it done at the pharmacy at those machines they have it always reads too high. Runs in my family

Diabetes does run in my family but fortunately nothing else.

Blood pressure has never been an issue either though, at the worst time in my life, I did have a stress-induced heart attack at 23. Combination of a divorce+best friend being killed, etc.

Got a rough draft of my personal statement done last night and application nearly done. Still want to scour for some more LOR's. Wheels are rolling for this app cycle finally

High BP runs in mine too. Take meds for it daily now. I fought it all thru my 40s but it never went down, regardless of how in-shape I was. So I finally gave in and started taking meds.

Yeah I think I will have to as well, part of the reason I need to kick myself in the ass and start getting regular annual checkups again. I don't want to be that dude that dies of a heart attack at 40 because he was too stubborn to get checked out lol.

You'd think seeing that 42 yr old guy on my hockey team last February fall over and nearly die on the ice of a heart attack would have been enough motivation, but yes I am that stubborn

Yeah, I tried everything. Stopped chewing for a good 8 months straight, stopped the energy drinks, was eating clean and was doing Crossfit daily. Still had high BP. :notsure:
