Part of this has to be making it to retirement age without being an empty husk of a being. You don’t want to be so physically worn out when you hit that age that you can no longer enjoy the time. Otherwise you’ll just be biding time until you finally drop

 

Yep, my grandpa made it to about 60 doing 60 hour weeks and then retired into the lazyboi chair he spent the rest of his life in.

I was trying to think of which song was the most weird/had the weirdest video, which is pretty much all of them especially their early stuff

 

Gotta have something to do or you age out fast. Even if I don't want to work until I'm ancient you best be damn sure I'm gonna keep my body decently active with hobbies, and to do that I need my body to not be entirely used up. Fatigue early in life sets in hard in the later years, it actively ages you. Lack of sleep, being called on at weird hours with no consistency, smoking, drinking, energy drinks, nutrition and diet inconsistency is terrible as it adds up. You burn up that weird youth energy you have despite the obvious need for healthy habits but eventually that youth energy fades and your body is rough from the years of abuse.

 

I just want one of those VR headsets they're using on cattle in Russia when I'm old. Just put me in a room with IV fluids and turn it on

I can handle a lot of disturbing shit when it comes to tv/movies, but Black Mirror is one of those shows I can only do one at a time or it puts me in a weird place lol.
