Seems perhaps regional, but does sound somewhat familiar at the same time...

 

Mattress stores are fronts for money laundering.

 

That means sketchy used car lot for people who cant even finance a cheeseburger

Yeah the Russian mob usually. There's a street in PHX where there is a Mattress Firm right across from another Mattress Firm

Yeah but food chains are about convienience and they'll usually profit more from having more stores. Mattresses are high ticket items, not something you fleetingly think "hmm I'll buy a new mattress since there's a store right across the street from me"

Another favorite for me is Dan Bell. His Another Dirty Room series is fascinating. Jake from Bright Sun usually collabs with them in that series.

 

Curiosity killed the cat right? Well I'm curious. My rate is $677 for 6 months of liability insurance on my Tacoma. That's Progressive. Let's see what the only company running ads on YouTube anymore (Root Car Ins.) can do for me. I'll do their two week test drive and let you all know what they think I should pay.

I should mention I have a clean driving record, great credit, and my largest detractors for insurance would be that I am male and under 25. Oh and I like long walks on the beach and mini golf.
