Just take the whole thing off, it is probably not good having it dangle there. Its easy enough to put back on

My dream of swapping a 2JZ-GTE is too difficult since I can never get it legal in California.

A turbo is also something I can never get legal in California. However, it's a hell of a lot easier to swap intake systems rather than an entire engine when emissions testing comes up.

You could *probably* leave the one side on and be okay, but I wouldn't want to chance it. Just take both end links off and bungy the swaybar out of the way.

They say 'buzzed' can be the same as sleep deprived.

So yes. I go to class 'buzzed' every single day.

Not with the way the thing is bolted on. The bolts are accessed from the top, and it's kinda hard to get a ratchet up there, and not a lot of room to move around. I'd say just bungy it out of the way to test it, then remove it later if wanted.

I'm doing both CV's so the other end link will be taken off. @Prayn4surf is probably right though just take the whole thing off

Exactly. That's why my dreams are futile.

Doesn't mean I still won't do it someday, haha. I know the LS is easier and cheaper to swap in, but I having a GM engine in a Toyota is just asinine to me.

Meh, if both links are off, just bungy it out of the way. That's what most people do when they go wheelin anyway. Like I just said, the bolts are accessed from the top which makes them kind of a PITA to get off "quickly".

If you're just test driving it around, you'll be fine.

I took mine off a while ago, and I can't say I "like it" for street driving, it's my dedicated off-roader anyway, so it pretty much just goes from my driveway to the trail and back, and the ocational trip to the landscaping supply place.

Yeah I looked at it and was annoyed seeing the bolts are on the top and not the bottom, makes it was more of a pain in the ass

Yeah, I thought about welding some nuts to the top and cutting the nuts off the bushing mounts, but then I figured just not putting it back on was WAY easier, lol

gotcha, mine were four bolts accessed from the bottom. Didnt account for the differences.

The big tabacco reference was eluding to the fact they own most of em and are doing the same thing they did in the past haha. They can even advertise on TV again hehe.

Wait, you have a 2004 and your swaybar bushing bolts are on the bottom?! Someone must have modified that like I was planning to do before I just got lazy.
