It could be. The ABS computer I believe is behind the driver’s side kick panel, proximal to the brake pedal switch. Inspect that area and look for chewed wires.

Most important thing to buy in your home is your mattress. Second is the toilet

ugh. I just want this shit fixed: when I changed my exhaust I got a code p0171, my guy sprayed brake clean over the engine because I had to go and we didn’t hear a change of RPM so we gonna smoke test it next week.

I think when I SAS next year the guys gonna yank all this ABS shit out.

    Fuck I'm jealous :(

Growing up in the northeast we would get some torrential snow accumulation about every 4-5 years. 3rd year of living on my own after high-school it wa a bad enough I had to climb out of my living room window to be able to uncover the door well enough to open the door from the outside

(The door swung the opposite way because the guy who built my rental was a horrible DIYer)

Why don’t you just take the fuse out? The truck will still work fine independent of ABS.

will that retard the light ?

I might just do that because fuck abs. I told my mechanic before I spoke with the fabricator that I wanted to just get rid of ABS and he insisted that I should fix and keep it. Don’t recall his reasoning.

plus when you try to look into this code c1249 it says stop light or stop light switch, is a stop light the same as a brake light switch ? Haha stupid yeah?

    Fffuuuuccckkkk ABS

100% of all the older vehicles I've ever owned, if it was sold from the dealer without ABS, I would pull that shit out and run new lines. Never changed any other brake components, and they would stop just fine.

Disclaimer* I drive like a grandpa so I've never activated ABS (even in snow or inclement weather) even with it installed so results may vary

I'd love to get a blizzard like that this winter. Have a few extra days off from work. My house was built in 59 lucky it was a kit and built strong. Just the windows suck, all single pain.
