I use the spare battery for my DeWalt impact gun to roll down windows at the junkyard, haha.

I'm putting Lexus ES300 seats into my truck. One day, the track motor decided to burn out. I went to the yard to get a new one, and obviously none of these cars have power. To access the seat rail bolts, I had to move the chair backwards. So what I did was cut the harness to the chair and spliced the drill battery to it. I started moving it back to get access, and this guy walking by me glances at me, keeps walking, and suddenly he stopped dead in his tracks after he had time to process what he just saw. He walked back to me, looked at the chair (still moving backwards), at me, back at the seat, and his brain seemingly exploded from seeing a working power seat at the junkyard.

I have one of those Ryobi One+ battery powered impact guns.. I use it when I need to rotate tires mainly... makes doing it a breeze. Still works so far

I use that Makita and a tinier Craftsman for the small stuff. I like using hand tools for most stuff though

I always get their free multimeter when I shop there, I always seem to burn them out. I've gone through 4 or 5 already. Meanwhile, my WalMart GE multimeter is going 10 years strong.

I've been wanting a Fluke. Any recommendations? I already have their Clamp meter, but that's usually only good on high voltage wiring.
