"We need pictures of the Black/Black colored shirt to send to a buyer"

We don't have that shirt in solid black, do you have the exact description of the pattern?

"It's not solid black, it's black with black dots on it"

I hope you stay as far away from European VFD's as possible. Anytime that plant calls maintenance and says a machine or motor wont come on, I put my money on those VFD's. This is the third one in the last year to let the smoke out.

Huh that's interesting... is it all European brands or just that one particular one that's problematic? I'm shooting in the dark here but I wonder if it's because they're designed around 50Hz incoming vs the standard 60 we're used to this side of the pond?

So far its Eurotherm and Sew Eurodrive that we have issues with. Telemecanique stuff is ok cause Square D owns it.

I casually asked my boss about those brands and he said eurotherm is predominantly a temperature controls company and sew eurodrive is mainly gear motors and power transmission stuff.. so more than likely they're paying some 3rd brand to make drives and just put their labels on it.

Interestingly enough sew eurodrive has their vfd made by a company called invertek, who also makes some drives for Eaton. So if you're having availability issues you should be able to cross it over to invertek without too much hassle
