Working on being nice to myself and buying shit that I need to make my life easier instead of just hacking it. Simple shit. Saw. Propane heater. Extension cord. Trailer tires.

Spent my whole life being a cheap ass and it costs a lot of time and sanity in exchange

I wouldn't go to a bash with 20+ a year ago. At least now I have an excuse and I'm not just antisocial or an introvert.

Mounted my missile silo lights to the wall. I’m running out of wall space.

I (think) I need to go to Walmart to buy some motor oil and D3 filters. But hell, don't want to go near the place. They make people wear masks before entering.

    Auto parts stores aren't bad.

Came from the San Mateo, CA Police originally. It’s a Code 3 RX2700, about mid 2000’s. I got it from a guy who bought pallets of them and refurb’d them and resold them. He also sold me the Code 3 XL blue and red under it.

Big thanks to everyone who told me to pony up for these. Also big thanks to Camburg for the hook up. These puppies are beefy!

Now I just have to figure out what else I need to do to get my front suspension up to par.

Yep. Bolt on. It came shipped in a smaller box with stainless nuts and bolts. Some people indicate the diamond plate was bolted on before shipment.

The thing I like about WKOR is when I called a very knowledgeable person answered the phone and provided good consulting advice. They also followed up after the order with an email to verify my choice.

When they took my order, they indicated an 8 week fulfillment time. They shipped at 7 weeks. I see they are having a sale right now.

I'm learning people like the bolt-on plates better than riveted. Makes them easier to maintain over the long haul.

That bullshit (plus the price gouge) is why we quit using Hoffman.

we switched to Hammond enclosures .. we have number of OEM enclosures that we get modified from the factory and they always come out perfect. Granted we have to order x amount of dollars worth for them to do it but at least Hammond knows to drill and weld before painting:rofl:

If you weld to an allen wrench socket it will break. That was a fail for a stripped diff drain plug

Twisted it out, ground down the welds, and weld a nut on there like I should have in the first place

The hundred series ones look far better than their 80 series ones, the 80 series ones are possibly the worst design I've ever encountered. Are they bolt on? I have a strong dislike for bolt on sliders, but I understand cruiser owners are weirdos when it comes to modifying anything, so if I made shit for cruisers I'd offer it too.

I seem to like Hammond a bit better as well. The fit and finish just seems better. Could be me, but they just seem nicer.
