@Empty_Lord I got a 1997 lexus ls 400, from the previous owner the trans went out and he replaced it with a junkyard one that didn't work after replacement

The trans that's in physically on it is a 5 speed

Google says it should be a 4 speed

I'm just trying to see if the trans is bad or if its they bolted the wrong trans to it

no. you need one from a lexus. its a 4 speed a343 i believe
