I was just thinking about a time when I was trying to buy an XJ for my sister. It was clean and ran great and drove great. BUT it had a BAD vibration on the highway at 65+

The seller agreed to having me take it to a shop (I was in a different town and didn't bring tools) to have it checked out. They determined that the vibration was because the transfer case was cracked. When I brought the jeep back to the seller and mentioned it he was like "yeah, I knew that. Don't tell me about it". He wasn't willing to budge on price at all to make up for a new t case either.

Fucker knew it was fucked up and let me waste time and money checking it out. What a cunt

rear o2 sensors cut, straight pipe welded right to the manifold, fuel pump that works despite not having a relay, yellow calipers... overspray on suspension components,water as coolant that leaks, oil as rustproofing, the engine idles... sometimes, there has to be more i havnt seen yet

 

I don't ever buy cars at night let alone in the rain. Although it's a good way to check for interior leaks.
