I figured out why the bellhousing and engine on my lexus didn't want to line up, there was a wiring harness bracket shoved between them on the verrrry top of the bellhousing

Not looking forward to dropping the trans... again

They're great dailys, my dad's is an 09, you're going to want to change out the vanoss valves and service the transmission

It drove like a different car after changing out the sealing sleeves for the valve body/mechatronics unit, trans pan/filter, and new zf fluid

It has 200k miles and still drives like a $70k car

Yes it's na, but an aged vanoss system will still mess with throttle response and it still has a zf transmission

Ps if you ever remove the knuckle don't hammer on the hub, one of the bearings started growling after my dad did that while replacing a control arm

I'll check the vanoss to make sure it's commanded and actual values match. It would be hard to tell on one of these if it was acting up, the turbos spool instantaneously.

On the second one, yeah I already know that's a terrible idea, especially on an aluminum knuckle, you run the chance of killing the bearing like you did or deforming the bearing race in the knuckle.
