This looks close to my first apartment here. Taken around market and Van Ness? That area is definitely a hell hole

Ah yup that's my old hood. If you're ever back in the area, I'd recommend El Castillito on church. Best burritos north of 17th St IMO

I lived in Park Merced. I never saw the god damn sun.

I used to work on the red double decker tour buses you see downtown before we all got laid off.

Desert is underrated for sure. It isn't as easy to appreciate as the mountains, but it's one of my favorites too, especially now that I don't live in it full time.

2020 has been the year of tearing things apart on the truck, partly for my own sanity.

I think the travel business is going to be crazy once all this settles down.

That must've been a fun gig while it lasted. And yeah man, anywhere west of divisadero is covered in fog. When I first moved here from Seattle, I rented a room in a flat in the Outer Richmond because I didn't know and it was grey all day.

It didn't burn fast enough for me. I had to get out. Might have been okay if I could have lived in Northern AZ. But I couldn't deal with the Southern PHX (arguably one of the nicer areas) metro and Tucson despite being the second largest metro was like a burnt out dried up husk of a town that once was. I can go back and visit but a week is more than enough.

I moved from the coast, San Diego, to Tucson. Really like Tucson so far and have yet to be bored with what AZ has to offer for offroading and exploring. For me, AZ has it all from the flat desert to mountains. It's nice having a beach but I'm not an ocean person and never really spent time hanging out on a beach. The views are great as is the sound of the waves but I don't miss it being out here.

All my wheeling yesterday was at the base of Mt Lemmon here in town so the terrain went from flat, high desert to mountainous terrain very quickly. And it does snow here too so I can go visit and then leave the white shit behind when I'm over it.

Same boat. My F5s are going to keep getting delayed since I’m not there to sign for them.
