    The missus and I stayed up WAY too late drinking and wrapping presents for her nieces so we could get them in the mail today....

    I have zero motivation to do shit today

    Same. I'm trying to make a video that demos some new software, but I have to work around a bunch of not yet implemented features and use it to dig through months worth of data to find something interesting to look at.

    Then I couldn't get on the VPN...

    What a pity.

    They key is to be terrible at wrapping so your wife/girlfriend/partner whoever tells you to get lost so she can do it to her own standards

    :rofl::rofl:

    I'd rather suffer through the pain together.. then deal with the wrath of her having to do all that work herself. There are no free passes for incompetence

    I'm actually not that bad at wrapping, but my wife is on another level - like department store pro gift wrapper level. She gets all crazy with ribbons and stuff where I just slap one of those pre-made bows on and call it a day, but that's not good enough lol.

    I'm such a mediocre cook that usually the missus makes the meal and I wash the dishes.... plus we have to hand wash everything and I'm 1000x faster washing dishes compared to her lol

    That's how we are too, she tries loading the dishwasher but she puts stuff in there with food all over still and it clogs up the filter over time...so I just insist on doing it.

    She's a much better and healthier cook than me so it evens out

    My sister used to work at a hallmark store. Even my very best wrapping looks like a toddler did it by comparison :laughing:

    Lmao when a school hits me back up to be a part of their community. Just been working 50-60 hour weeks at my job working for a PCP office to grind out my finances. Finally got a second cc set up to use for my apps.

    Same. I had a 13hr day yesterday, then came home last night to my new houses alarm randomly arming itself and my wife wanting me to rip out wire racking in the pantry. You should KYS if you ever want to install that white wire racking shit in your house, trash tier garbage, have some self respect. I'm beat today.

    I'm pretty sure this new house is possessed, I had a water heater pipe spring a pin hole less than 24hrs being there and the alarm went crazy last night. Found out my house has a bunch of PEX in it that was involved in a class action lawsuit for pinhole failures within 18ft of the water heater, so I have my weekend project... Considering just copper piping it.

    I see the Tacoma frame is already becoming a storage divider

    2 weeks later it'll be buried never to be seen or heard from again
