This is I-80 every year. Fucking Nyack to Kingvale everytime.

 

Suckers, glad I wasn't up there. Mt Baldy to my knowledge doesn't have any accessible fire roads to get around the highway on either

I was up in Big Bear in 2017 when they got hit with their biggest snow storm in the last 10 or so years, luckily we were able to get around all the congested traffic from all the idiots that came up in 2wd cars without proper equipment and we managed to get down the mountain via the fire roads. It was sketchy AF though.

That was the time I tried to help one guy that was stuck in his sedan on a snow bank and he tried spinning his tires when I had my hands in the wheel well looking around for a recovery point. Just got up and walked back to my truck and left him there

 

Yeah Baldy is one way in and one way out. Its always a shit show. I mobbed up it about 12 years ago in my 97 when it was 2wd with no chains and it was a challenge even being experienced. One thing I liked about Bear is all the short cuts in and out.

 

Yeah there's absolutely no reason to go up into Big Bear via the highway unless you have a fetish for traffic, too many service and fire road options that are faster and more fun

@xtremewlr my wife and I started the movie Fatman last night, had to stop 30 min in to go to bed because we're lame like that, but definitely going to finish it tonight

Was weird, Amazon had it listed to rent for $6.99 or buy it for $6.99 lol. So I bought it

A few nights ago I got up to blow my nose...cause allergies.

Later in the morning I get a text from my mom asking if I thought I had covid symptoms since she heard me blowing my nose that night.

I need my own place.

 

It is normal. Everybody is just so on edge and nervous that it's more noticeable.

 

LOL that sucks, but yeah that sounds like a mom thing to do.

I have bad allergies pretty much year round but fortunately they don't make me cough, but runny nose/congestion is pretty much my life and always has been.

 

I hate it nowadays if I take a sip of water and it goes down the wrong pipe, I have to grab a pillow or sweater and cough into it hoping no one thinks I've got the covid

 

She had it and her only symptom was a runny nose. So guess thats why she was concerned.

 

I just put the bong down.

 

I don't understand why people pay to watch movies that are available for free.

 

It's not free on any streaming platform, unless you're talking about those "other" platforms...which I haven't bothered with since I use to pirate Game of Thrones when it first came out like 10 years ago. But, my days of living in the shadows of crime are behind me. I've got no issue with paying a few bucks to buy a movie or pay for legit streaming services.

I pay for Satellite TV, HS Broadband and OnDemand. Something I like about using IMDB search and watching what I'm in the mood for beats paid providers. I searched George Clooney and watched "The Midnight Sky".
Happened to be on a Mel Gibson marathon when I watched "Fatman"
Still give Netflix their monthly but watched it from IMDB.
I'm weird like that
And other ways too I guess.

 

I own a bunch of movies but sometimes I just prefer to stream, too lazy to get up and grab the DVD/Blu-ray.

 

huh it just played for free through IMDB? I admit I didn't look into it very hard, just googled the movie and saw that it was $7 from all the normal streaming platforms. I didn't even know you could watch movies through IMDB

 

This goes without saying since you watched Mel Gibson films haha
