I'm always suspicious of designers that render stuff out of a computer but don't actually build things. Seen more unworkable shit 'made' that way.

It's @Box Rocket, he used to have a tacoma, it was a nice super mild build. His LCs are pretty built though.

Cool. I'll have to check him out. Still suspicious of renders in general, but its nice to find someone who has real world experience.

 

I still doubt anything will actually be produced, but yeah, he's got the background to come up with an appealing practical design. Whether or not he has the mechanical ability to design features that can be manufactured in real life... I don't know.

 

Yeah, that can be a sticking point. Even experienced engineers draw up stuff that can't be built, but I've seem some stuff thats like 'this violates several laws of physics...' from the 'design' crowd because its just so poorly researched.

I'm pretty sure some of the car renderings I saw while in school from the Transportation Design kids ended up getting used as space ships in the Expanse. Totally ridiculous looking as cars but pretty cool as futuristic space battleships lol

 

I mean, he’s not building the things he renders, companies hire him to render stuff their building
