I've done a mod or two
Well, gonna get froggy with the laptop and code some of the Bimmer features out today. Need to kill the adaptive headlights, cause they're fragile and I don't wanna keep replacing motors and g-sensors. They can just be stationary, they're only DRLs anyway. Gonna set the speedo correctly cause its off a few percent for sure. Gonna disable resistance monitoring for my new LED tail lights since I went to modern lamps. I will also turn off the TPMS system entirely and enable FTM monitoring instead. The sensors are dumb and expensive and I can monitor my own tires. May also set the DCT to 50ms shifts no matter what mode the car is in, the soft shifts for comfort aren't appreciated by me or the trans.

Main spot is Bartlett or the Gila river. Even the verde river. Depends on what your fishing for I guess

For some of it I'll use BimmerGeeks ProTool, the rest I'll probably use a serial hex editor since the options are buried deeper. INPA is pretty good but there are some that are just straight unbridled access to everything, very dangerous but very powerful. You can pretty much code any option in or out of these cars. You can even change what existing options you have do and whether they're active or not. Like I could turn my oil temp gauge into a coolant temp gauge, or boost gauge... or something stupid like a brake pressure gauge.
