That's awesome  even better you caught it. I got a buddy with French family and when they came to visit the phrase that still cracks me up is "nom du weefee?" (That's how it's pronounced) and even though it translated to "name of WiFi" its what they ask when they want the password specifically

This feels like the right place to settle in. Just bought this 2004 V6 TRD and im digging it. Been driving a 2007 access cab tacoma for the past 3 years but knew I was a 1st gen boy deep down.

Now I'm lookin to make a little money by selling the 07 and use the difference to give the 04 a slight lift. I didn't want to post an un-lifted truck in the lifted 1st gen thread so ill ask everyone here..

A relatively affordable (or not) complete set up for front and rear lift. 1.5-2" in front and back is what I had in mind. Essentially get it up to what a prerunner starts at?

I do not intend on doing it myself, so I would like to know everything I need to hand over to a professional.

    Thanks in advance homies

    Whats that?

No seriously. Take whatever you plan to spend and double it. Thats what ended up happening to both of the tacos I lifted.

    I have mods
    Go here - https://www.headstrongoffroad.com/store/c97/Tacoma_1995-2004_Complete_Lift_Kits.html

Pick a lift kit that meets your needs/budget. Take parts to your installer.

There are literally hundreds of threads covering this and honestly, the LT thread isn't the best place to be posing your questions covering what lift to buy. I'd suggest starting a new thread or doing some searching in existing threads. The lifted 1st gen thread is actually a good place to start with said research.

bet it tastes good, just be sure it doesn't get in your eye or it might irritate it according to the package.

Yeah me too when I had to get my wheel bearing replaced just before my wedding, because I fucked up my CV axle install.

Guy at the shop goes "whoever installed this axle really fucked this all up"

I was like..yeah..that guy...haha fuck him right haha... *cries inside*

Fuck that place lol, all the local rednecks with domestics on super swampers go there regularly. I can only imagine what its like when it gets snow. Last time we were there some kid playing in the nasty swamp water sprayed it through my open window with a super soaker.

We're heading north this weekend to find snow, north of LA up on the grapevine most likely. The Los Padres forest/Mt Pinos area is a lot less popular with the LA county crowd so hopefully it won't be as crazy as where we went last weekend.

I think you will be good. Most people are not going to try and get up into the grape vine. This is what we are looking at this week.
