I guess some of their drives requires 2 run commands one is run enable and one is what rotation you want and a speed reference.

so the drive was coming on and going to run but stayed in the jog mode and wouldn’t ramp. Ended up finding that someone landed a wire wrong and it wasn’t getting its command to run in forward rotation. So because they had it on reverse run and it wasn’t programmed for that so it would just default to jog even though the controller was telling it to goto 100%

Which is completely different then most drives where you just a run enable and a 0-100% command. But I swear every time i work with a emerson control technic drive they always do some weird as controlling

That's a cheap ass drive if rotation is determined by a wire being landed instead of having have rotation as a parameter. It's not controlling a DC motor is it?

I might, Haven't gotten that far yet. Every trip I have done where I took extra fuel, I didn't need it. So if I do a can holder, it will more likely get used for a water can than a fuel can. We'll see. The spare tire carries is more important right now so i can get the spare out of the back.

Morning fuckers.... So I’m looking on Car-part and the only automatic non add shift on the fly transfer case in AZ is $650 bones

Might drive to Cali sometime to pick up the other one for half the price. 78686E7A-62FC-4D28-9136-2957B087D848.jpg

Nah it was controlling 6 460v 1/2hp motors.

but yeah that drive was dump. You needed a “logic stick” that plugged into the front just to run the vfd. With out it only half the features would work

I left a comment in there just to spark some more spirited purse swinging. If I bought a used LX470 (a fucking far cry from real luxury besides having a Lexus badge) I'd rip off the AHC hydro garbage for some real purpose tuned suspension too.

Yeah, my boss buys the cheap Automation Direct GS drives almost exclusively, and rotation is a parameter Im pretty sure. But usually its quicker to just switch the phases.

I had to throw in a plug that 3rd gen T4Rs are more desirable than LX470s in my area. I'm sure that pissed somebody off. Haha!

Snow wheeling in a foot of fresh snow on the 50 this morning was pretty awesome. Not a plow in sight.
