Yes, street tires don’t help, neither did the “muddy” license plate

"No one makes a spool for 7.5 or 8.4.

The welded carrier is stronger and has less ring gear deflection any ways"

I've done a mod or two
There's a spool for the 8.4 too, a few actually. Where y'all getting this info from?

    https://www.nitro-gear.com/Toyota-8-4-Nitro-Full-Steel-Spool-p/fst100-30.htm

    https://eastcoastgearsupply.com/i-23993766-yukon-spool-for-toyota-t100-8-4-30-spline.html

    https://www.marlincrawler.com/diffe...cker/spool-tacoma/spool-tacomanew/spool-84-v6

These folks have a 7.5 spool in the works but its not a common diff in the US for anything other than economy cars.

I didn't do any web searching at all to say there is or isn't; just passed on the word as it was something he wanted to ask Jake.

But yeah @Das it mang the 8.0 and 8.4 uses the same axle shafts so spline count would be the same. The axle housing is different between the two though.

Well I only briefly peeked at the 6 lug spools bc I don't have one. Really surprised u found the 7.5 tho, guess I'm bad at looking haha. 300 bucks making me really look towards the latter option tho.

    Thank you for your help!!

Got a Gentex mirror with HomeLink/Auto-dim/Conpass out of a 2008 Infiniti for the 300zx. Really scored on this one, cost me a whole $20.
