    ...and what, your wheel detached lol? I'd rather spend a couple hundred bucks and replace the ball joints than figure out they're bad by losing a wheel

    This needs to be modified for offroad trucks too, as they tend to also make noises that you'll drive yourself crazy trying to eliminate

    Hence the upper BJ discussion

    Front end/steering clunks are the ones that cause me worry, my LBJs and tie rods are fairly new so I'm ruling them out and they also don't have play.

    Steering rack bushings are new, LCA bushings new, etc.

    After enough 4x4 trails over the last 5 years, I have what I consider to be 'friendly clunks and squeaks' versus 'oh shit, that one sounds unfriendly'
