Huh, I saw an article like that a month or so ago but about gas powered vehicles in general. Most were saying it was just a headline move for the people in charge to cater to the current trend, not really expecting it to come to fruition. But a lot can happen between now and 2035 so I guess we'll see.

If they intend to go through with this then hopefully the battery life of electric vehicles comes a long way, cause they won't last for crap offroad the way they are now

edit - I guess this just applies to off-highway ATVs and dirt bikes and such

yeah I need to start reading all the way to the bottom of these things, I feel like so many articles nowadays are just headline grabbers for clicks and ad revenue, then at the bottom it's the real info about how nothing is written in stone or as dramatic as the headline suggests lol.

When I was a kid, I bought this .99c jar of pomade from the convenience store thinking I could make my hair look all cool, turns out the cheap pomade isn't water based and for all intents and purposes, is basically glue. My mom had to take me to her hair salon so they could use all this shit to get it out of my hair haha.

The auto company institutional investors are pushing auto companies to embrace EV as a way to reduce financial risk should there be a sudden spike in fossil fuel prices. They don't want to go through another 2008.

I saw this, I don't think it is set in stone yet. I am not apposed to having a good electric car but it needs to be the same quality as my gas trucks. It would be nice to be able to drive from Tahoe to Socal and not have to budget $300 for gas for the trip.

I wouldn't disagree. EV is the future, at least right now. 2035, or 15 years, just seem too short of a timespan for CA or any state to completely eliminate the sale of new, gas powered vehicles. There needs to be significant progress made in charging cell technology I think. Way further than where we are at now.

I'm all for alternative fueled vehicle, but they need to be able to perform at the same level or better, with ease of refueling, that gas powered vehicles are at now.

I knew she was elderly and got "3rd degree burns"... But not that 700 other people complained about the same thing, the extent of her injuries or their cost which was probably most of what was left of her life savings

I heard it finished but did the battery fail or were they just swaping batteries to replenish charge?
