Little chinesium generator been humming away all day to keep the fridge, TV and wifi on. Fire in the fireplace to stay warm. It aint all bad.

Drove around some and it looks like a frozen war zone haha. Trees and power lines down everywhere.

I think when I buy a house here soon I wanna look into a solar setup. Maybe not to power the whole house, but the furnace and some appliances would be nice. Also with the .gov incentives to go to solar it would be a no brainer especially on a home that already needs a little work.

One of my friends nearby actually gets credits from her solar setup. She often produces more electricity than she uses.

Look into the Tesla Powerwall, I've heard good things about it except the initial price. The nice thing is you can basically live off the grid, it would make a good investment with a solar system.

I’m one of those people that would try to build their own. The one thing Tesla has going for them is their battery technology, they’re years ahead of most other competitors.

Oh yea, sorry I forgot you're a musk kool-aid drinker. I'll shut up. But you're smart enough to understand the only reason his battery technology is "better" is because he makes them larger. His cells have no more energy density than a Samsung or a Panasonic cell.

I'm not being mean to you, I just really hate that man

    "Lithium batteries are great!"

The slaves in the lithium mines on the other side of the planet probably dont think that.

No, no they do not. Lithium mining is so horrible for the environment, as well as horrible for human well-being.

But we need to advance our economy :duh:
