That Q32 component on the corner is toast. Any idea what was going on when it failed?

I've got no hated for the KO2 I think it's a good bang for the buck.... I really really don't want to spend more than 200 a tire so I'll have to settle for the 217 price

My MacBook hasn't wanted to boot up in over a year, been too lazy to take it in...I'm sure it's probably toast. Stupid thing needed a new video card when it was just out of warranty and now this.

I had been playing some Red Dead 2. Temps were fine and I run a platinum Corsair PSU made by super flower. Suddenly started getting display freezes of one random color. Then the PC wouldn’t post for a display error and the VGA red light came on the mobo. Smelled burning rubber and knew the card was dead at that point.

Judging by the components around it that looks like a voltage regulator, and the melting cables suggests a short. Maybe just a defect.

I’m debating on running 4.56 and a 32.8 tire on my V6 auto. Otherwise I’d need some massive tires for my V6 manual. Most of the internet is saying 4.88 for 33s on the auto though.

Macbooks seem kinda hit or miss. Some people love them, other people say they're horribly designed POS's. I've never owned one.

All of my thinkpads have been stout as hell though and none have died on me. Yet.

I only use them for running creative software like the Adobe Suite, for gaming I would definitely get a PC. Although I'll probably end up getting a PC anyway because I'm kind of steering away from doing professional photo stuff outside of my current day job. Don't want to drop $3k on a laptop just for the brand name when I don't need it. And all the extra shit that Apple charges a bunch of money for separately is ridiculous

Yeah, they're kind of nuts. A friend of mine really prefers macOS over windows, but wants to play actual games, and do photo editing. But even the new macbooks aren't particuarly fast compared to whats available. He ended up with this monster Asus laptop with a ryzen in it. So far so good, and waaaay cheaper than the mac.
