Oh? Wonder what the difference is between the two side by side

 

Second Gen has bump perches for hydros on it that we can't use cause our frames don't dovetail

 

That made very little sense to me except the frame dovetail part

 

The flip plates have strike zones for hydro bumps, that's the difference.

 

Oh so that’s just on the wheelers kit? I don’t need that. I would prefer something with some bumps on it though. If the axles are the same size I should be able to use any Ubolt flip kit from a 2nd gen

 

Not that hard to get an ASE G1. I took a practice test and I passed. I just don’t have the two years of required shop experience to have it official.

Had to stop working on it. I have some things to get done before I go back to the city tonight.

My neighbor is having his friend with a machine shop build the crank pulley SST. We’ll try again next weekend.

Lifted sienna

 

I should’ve just lifted the Sienna instead of my truck.

 

Is there any benefit to using a 160 degree thermostat over the stock 180?

So are the lower temp ones for boosted trucks? Whats the point?

 

Shouldn't have jumped on that grenade in the first place. I'm just a selfish prick, but weekends are too short for me to work on anyone else's shit. *Exceptions can be made if you're sticking a penis in the other person.

 

Yeah they're typically for boosted applications, just causes your cooling system to go wide open earlier and pote tially keep heat down, but that's more dependant on the capacity of your radiator

 

But the thermostat doesnt do that. It just means it opens sooner.

 

I just enjoy working on cars. And I don’t mind helping other people out.
