I've always wanted a beer that could top me up on soul crushing disappointment

That whole list looks delicous. Mexican Hot Chocolate stout sounds like dessert.

Spent the day fixing a seepage from all 4 fittings on my double cab's transmission cooler thermostat. I used teflon tape and tightened them down with a deep socket vs a wrench. Hopefully that's the last I have to deal with it for a while.

There's a 2001, 2.4L manual for sale with a shell and rack in my area for 6500. Haven't negotiated with him yet but the exterior looks really good. Interior looks okay for a 2001, no options. I don't see SR5 or pre runner or anything. Only has 133k miles.

I'm really interested in having a little manual in my life. It would be my daily and for plinking around with the dogs. I have a 2018 tacoma but it's getting pretty chunky and an electric moped I use most of the time for my commute.

Do you guys think that's a fair price for a good condition? It's in the middle of KBB, anything to look out for north of 100k miles? It's 2wd but not too concerned about that as I have my other taco

I feel like that's high for a 5 lug even in Cali. But I haven't seen the truck.

2.4s gonna be a 5 lugged, no prerunner or anything.

probably fine for the commute if you don’t live in the snow

    and that’s a high price

Yeah it's a little on the high side but seems to be the going rate these days.

    Examples - https://tucson.craigslist.org/cto/d/tucson-94-toyota-tacoma/7287657551.html

    https://phoenix.craigslist.org/wvl/cto/d/el-mirage-1999-toyota-tacoma/7287917660.html

    https://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/cto/d/mesa-1996-toyota-tacoma/7282760229.html

I'd say that if you like the truck, make an offer on it. Start a grand lower than asking.

I may try that. The market out here is nuts, its local to me so it's the most convenient thing that fits my criteria even if its a little high. If it were 4wd 2.7 he'd probably ask 10k for it.

Y'all would have hounded my ass knowing what I paid for my 5 lug, but I still stay behind it so far decision-wise.
