Seems like the small Toyota diesels get pretty mixed reviews though from what I'm seeing online. Sucks they never caught on in the US

Yea, America is starting to realize that but the main problem is the money we drop in mods lol it's why compared to the rest of the world our engines are much more crude. For example a 90's Dodge Dakota with the V8 magnum 190hp compared to a equivalent engine size in europe has 300 hp roughly. But that Dodge can go 100k miles with out a service aside from oil change and air filters. While that Europe car needs one every 5-10 k miles

He wanted me to come work tomorrow morning and I have class, kinda sucked.

I’d imagine tips are where it’s at in that business.

I work at a detail shop!

Unfortunately we get paid a flat rate per vehicle and not by the hour like at my other job (barbacking at a bar/music venue), but it still beats the shit out of working retail!

Also, I only lasted about 2 weeks at Dunkin Donuts back in October 2013. One of the reasons I left was because only one other employee spoke English as a first language. In fact, the language barrier between me and my coworkers was so great that I would have to work the awful early morning shift, then come back later and train with the only other English-speaking American working there!

So yeah, detailing cars is awesome because if you detail enough, you make a fortune. Also, it's strictly back of house and you don't have to deal with customers (the salespeople are typically douchebags though).

Well, valve covers are leaking. Question now is do I want to attempt it myself using tim's video as a reference or just pay yota to do it. Also still need to drain/fill tranny. Was holding off on the trans until I do the cooler. Just haven't gotten to it. Damn valve cover gaskets.
