@Speedytech7 on the 3rz the rear o2 sensor doesn't do anything but tell you if the cat is bad or not right?

    Doesn't affect afrs?

I thought that was the case for all our rear o2's, they're basically just there to tattle on the cats

After I installed my modified rear o2 sensor and reset the codes

The truck drank gas at an alarming rate

    No codes, nothing pending

Well, I guess that is one way to do it...

I actually was thinking about something similar to this "panel" after seeing (can't remember who it was) it posted here on TW

Putting the front suspension on the Z back together. I bought new Eibach lowering springs for it.

Nissan designed this completely bizarro cartridge strut system. I had to fill the tube with ATF then stick the shock inside of it. The factory shocks were completely shot, it had no more recoil.

Thanks! Project wise, I have tons, it's what pays for the other projects. I fixed a Mazda 5 and an Accord last week.

Boat is after I fix the Civic. I need to take the outdrive off and replace the exhaust and driveshaft bellows, the transom plate needs resealing too. Hopefully that fixes my leak. I need to do some electrical work too, front and rear nav lights don't work and I need to hardwire the chartplotter and fishfinder. There's also a rotten spot in the floor I need to cut out, and fiberglass over.

    Don't buy a boat haha.

I've been designing some new graphics for it too.

Oh that's funny, I didn't even think of Baywatch. I was going for a Miami Vice vibe with the Scarab.

At least @BartMaster1234 finishes his projects. I became paralyzed in depression when I determined the cab was too far gone on my 99. Haven't touched it in 5 days.

I spent today stripping some PCs down and packaging their parts for eBay listings. Meanwhile my vintage full suspension mountain bike is 99% done, but I can't justify the funds to finish it.

You might have to fight @Empty_Lord for a cab. What happened to yours? I finish my projects, it just take an excessive amount of time. :p

Send me your eBay store I’m curious haha

Sucks on the 99. Sorry man.

Know the feeling on projects too well. I have a box collecting dust with 4WD spindles, OE Green CVs rebuilt with Porsche boots :notsure:, a damn ADD Tube (why I ordered that have no idea lol) and a couple of other pieces. Will I ever get to it, doubt it. Dumb ass me thought a conversion to ADD was a good idea then I realized everyone was correct and I should've went with manual hubs. Whatever, lesson learned. Will eventually figure out what to do with the parts.

Cab is just really beat up from all the animal collisions and accidents it's been in. The 4Runner core support and fender apron I pulled should fit in theory. But it's way off. Spent hours with all the body mounts loosened trying to move the cab around to where it would fit. I discovered that the driver fender apron had been mildly repaired/pulled out after one accident so it wont fit right on the driver side. And the passenger apron won't fit against the firewall. Debated on pulling an entire 4Runner front clip but I'm not sure that would solve my problems. Probably going to make it fit good enough and hope the welds don't break on me while driving. Then maybe source a new cab for it in the future.

As for my eBay "store" I haven't really gone that far. Right now I only have two listings active because I need to get weights on some packages. Here is a recent listings of an old FX AMD cpu. For some reason they're holding their value far above Intel CPUs from that era.

I truly considered the ADD conversion because you can't easily long travel a manual hub truck. But that's a different level of complexity for sure. I'm sure we all have a couple (or more) boxes collecting dust on the shelf.

Ah! I’m familiar with that cab finagling you’ve been doing - I figured it was a project truck and not your daily. Sorry to hear all the trouble.

I bought this old 70’s Pioneer stereo at an e-waste place and I bought Intel and AMD CPU’s by the pound. I was gonna make art out of it but never did. I’ve got about 20-30 of early 2000’s Xeons, Pentiums, and some Phenom stuff.

Right now I'm wanting to finish it so I can daily it as a work vehicle. All the IT jobs locally seem to want to outsource their fleets to poor entry level employees. Can't justify using the 04 like that.

Crazy how a CPU can go from selling for $90-$150 to being basically worthless. With 6-8 core CPUs being the focus now a lot of the older gen i3, i5, and i7s are shooting down in value. Eventually you'll be able to buy them in bulk on the cheap as well.

I still don't understand why anyone uses manual hubs when add is simple to setup, cheaper, stronger, and more convenient to operate

Ie. put those parts to use and sell the manual hubs to the next guy

I just need to get the damn 01 done.

But I want more tacomas. Why? Even I don’t know. I just enjoy them. And I enjoy resurrecting dead cars
