Let me see if I can dig up the pic I took of a regular cab 90s pickup towing a 5th wheel camper

It took me a year to rebuild the 3rz in the tacoma (I pulled it outta my old 4R). Told myself "nothing else on this truck should be as hard as that engine to rebuild, you can do it in a year... 18 months, tops"

That was 3 years ago last week:bananadead:

Hey @Sperrunner our central heat is on the fritz, it'll run for a few seconds then kick off, run a few seconds then kick off, on and on etc. etc. Any ideas?

Already replaced the filter thinking maybe it was the issue but still doing it.

@Dalandser I see you liking that post... you remember selling your UCAs?

I still haven't painted them or pressed the new bushing in yet :homer:

I keep telling myself I need to drill and install a grease zero on the pivots first:rofl:

Good idea on the zerk - yeah I bought my first gen in 2017 over 4 years ago with the intent of building it out and keep driving it throughout the progression. I haven't driven it since I drove it home the day I bought it...

Rebuilding an engine is pretty intimidating, a year is pretty good considering its not your day job.

I think its time well spent anyway; this kind of stuff keeps me sane(ish)

Somebody buy my Megasquirt gold box. I've made decisions and it's not involved in them

Does it have one of the forced draft pressure sensors with the little sensor tube? The one at my moms house gets clogged with crud on occasion and won't let the furnace light. Just have to poke it clean with an allen wrench.
