Wasn't it supposed to be a frame off deal?

I mean, I won't ask about specifics but let me just say this -

The estimate or...what you paid...did it correlate with that of a frame off job if you had it done at another shop?

    At that cost, frame off.

    No cutting corners.

Cutting sections off the frame if needed, and safe-t caps welded.

    Least that's what I'd assume.

Yes, the ones that were recalled were all pulled from stores. They are the ones that don't have the rubber caps on the handles but they shouldn't be in the stores anymore anyway

And frame reinforcements. My buddy worked there and I thought he was doing everything but he was on vacation. I told him about it and he got me all the evidence I need. And he quit the shop. He's got a better job already.

Especially at that price tag. Back in 2016 I had a shop install a performance clutch kit on my truck and they installed the clutch plate backward...was toast within a week or so.

Was like pulling teeth trying to get them to admit to their mistake and get my money back. Only ever got the labor cost back but not the cost of the parts I provided.

I was somewhat to blame though for finding the cheapest hole in the wall shop in town to do the job, but it still sucks when you can't trust someone to do something right that you're paying them for.

That has to be a troll post lol..no way anyone could be that dumb. Its the easiest thing in the world to take it somewhere that will dispose of it, here you can just take it to any auto parts store.

*looks at the used oil jugs that have been sitting on the side of my driveway for 3 months*

Their ITREs have treated me well so far. OEM outers were cheap though at least for our Tacos
