Lulz .. super rare? That's a new one for me, I thought the 5spd was standard for all base model 4r. Mine was a 5spd and I got it for 200 bucks lol

 

5 spd 4runner with the v6 is hard to find

3rd gen ones anyway

 

That is tempting. If the job offer doesn't pan out and I stay with my current one/salary I just might hit that guy up. If new job does go through though then I need a commuter not another project lol

 

Ohh I missed it being a 6-cylinder. Yea I've never seen one of those. All the ones I've come across have been the 3rz 5spd

 

4Runner; automatics were much more common.

You do see manual's in 4 cylinder, and manual's in 6 cylinder but 2 wheel drive, but not often do you find a clean manual with 6 cylinder.

 

Yeah they are out there but few and far between these days. The 200k+ miles at that price is iffy but maybe there's wiggle room
