Yeah my Vegas gambling days are way behind me, it never panned out like I'd hoped lol.

I'll play the cheap Blackjack tables for fun but slot machines are rigged, and I'm not baller enough to play at the actual poker tables.

My uncle swears by craps, he and my aunt go to Vegas every year and walk out with a ton of winnings just playing craps. I never took the time to understand how to play it though.

 

We have a dollar black jack table at Hard Rock up here. I dont really gamble but you can sit at that table for 2 hours on $20 and get a good amount of free drinks. I always loose the $20 but feel like i'm ahead on the drinks.

 

The rooms and drinks are so cheap, but naturally because they want you to stay, get drunk, and gamble away.

The whole free drink thing in casinos is largely a ploy to get you to lose money at the tables, order a drink and then wait 20 min for it while you keep betting away lol. But at the cheap tables you can get away with betting small/winning small/losing small long enough to have actual fun and get some free drinks.

 

Yeah I couldn't imagen getting drunk enough to loose thousands of dollars in 1 night. I do appreciate the people who do so that I don't have to pay state tax.

 

The worst are the ATMs inside of casinos. Its never pretty watching someone hit up a casino ATM with their huge sur charges, or worse yet their massive interest fee if god forbid you're desperate enough to use a credit card at one.

I remember using the ATM once and before you could enter your pin, you had to agree to read a paragraph about gambling addiction with a help hotline lol.

 

$20 is a good amount to spend I think most bars charge around $7 to $12 for a drink so it all works out.

 

My Father in Law used it last time he was up. It was a $12 fee on the ATM side and i'm sure at least $3 from his bank. Just to give your money back to the casino
