Don't shift mid turn on a dropped miata

You may run over a pebble and be thrown through the windshield

Haven't you learned to wear your seatbelt since using your head as an airbag on your windshield

Yes, my statement was a hyperbole

The car wasn't that bad but if you hit potholes wrong while shifting it was grind town

in my experience, people that don't wear seat belts are like Flat Earthers, it doesn't matter what you say or what happens to them to prove otherwise, they're going to do it anyway.

This is the one I have. Works good, is comfortable and you can adjust pressure to your liking when inflating. It is self-inflating but the bag is also a pump to allow you to inflate it more if wanted.

    Question:

Say I get a quote for a shop to changed out all 4 control arms, all parts provided, had they go over the amount of time quoted.

Do most shops honor quotes or?

Most shops do but then you do get some gotchas sometimes as they do the work and find other issues.

In my experience, yes. As long as it goes smoothly and they don't encounter something that would put them way over the quoted labor time (like seized parts or another issue/problem not mentioned in the quote)

Why not just replace your arms yourself? If you're not having to press in anything it's pretty straight forward except for needing an alignment after

Though I've never replaced LCAs, but the UCAs were way easier than I was expecting.

I can't imagine the lowers would be any trickier other than marking the cams so you don't end up with a crazy whack alignment afterwards

Good shops do. Okay shops will give you a warning when they realize they're going over labor time. Bad shops don't and hold your rig hostage till you pay the remaining balance
