yeah I just thought about the plugs the other day, if they don't turn out well I can just take them out...bondo not so much and you can't exactly replace the roof lol.

Apparently Toyota does sell the outer roof skin but it has to be welded into place, ain't gonna fuck with that.

 

The Lexus models of Land Cruisers from the 90s through the mid 2000s (80 and 100 series) had stupid plastic cladding all over that was held in with fuckloads of clips.... another reason the actual LC branded ones fetch more money.

That's right, it's the Lexus variant.

I've been growing to hate the side molding on the 4R, really want the look of an SR5...

 

Not a chance

 

It's a PITA, even on the 4th gen. But the body under mine looks even worse without the molding. At least the 3rd gen maintains the body line of the rest of the door.
