So what’s the deal with “feeler” ads?

I see that the part has to be removed and pictured, easily said than done when it comes to a complete drivetrain.

Seems like people need to know how much money they can get from something before they decide to sell it. Which feels pretty indecisive to me, but then again I hate selling stuff on the internet anyway

I can see that. I too, hate selling stuff on the internet but, I also hate seeing stuff lay around on the garage floor taking up space. Notably an engine and tranny.

 

I've had these rock sliders for almost a year now and they're just collecting cobwebs next to my bench lol I keep telling myself I'm waiting for my lift kit to install them but that's one of the weakest excuses I've ever used

 

these are the same people that say "don't know what it's worth, make me a fair offer" then turn down every reasonable offer and demand 2x what it's worth

 

Just don't be like those idiots that got caught because they literally put on Venmo where it asks what the payment is for - "for the cocaine"

Everyone knows you at least use a snowman emoji for that

More often than not, the person asking knows roughly what he/she should ask but is gauging whether or not someone will pay more.

Then later lists said items for what you said, and justify their asking price by the replies received in the initial thread.

Craigslist/Facebook/KSL can provide a good idea, even a google search of said item, to see what an average going rate is.

That's why I like arfcom; they don't let you edit your thread to say sold or anything if you sold something. They make you leave the price you sold the item for to help control the market.

This ain't an auction, there's ebay for that.

 

In the young days of the internet before emotes existed, I ordered something illicit but not outright illegal from NV .. had to mail them a money order or cash before they would ship lol

I miss those days

 

I take the wife's kia to go to the mall to avoid that shame
