Lmao going from the chemical engineering classes to petroleum classes I swap units back and forth all the damn time. Almost everything but the specific petroleum classes is metric except statics and mechanics of materials.

I audibly laughed out loud when a petroleum teacher said nobody even uses the metric system in America and it is useless because I thought he was joking... he was not

Guess I'll give the new Unsolved Mysteries show a try...don't think it will live up to the OG one from my childhood that used to make me think my own parents were going to murder me in my sleep one day

I was watching the old ones couple weeks back. Mathew McConaughey was in one. Played a victim.

I like watching old Law and Order episodes to see today's big actors playing murderers and pedo roles before they got big

Steven Colbert played a guy on one in the 90s that lived at home and killed his mom lol

That sounds like a lot of work...

my mechanics of materials professor would probably bust a nut if he saw something that organized though.

I hated that man with a passion but I had to put on a smile and go talk with him in his office often after he gave me a 70 on a test... that I got all the right answers on. He didn’t like how I put given and find stuff in two columns at the top and on another problem he didn’t like that I used the easy process to solve it instead of the hard one that apparently he told us to use the week before.

he talked big shit about hunting and told me I should shoot a 6.5 creedmoor instead of 308 at whitetail. I double lung+heart shot a doe and she didn’t bleed a drop even jumping over a fence. Took me and two others ages to track down where she went 150yards away. I’m not shooting 6.5 anymore

X-Files is good for that too. They had their share of young talent from Ryan Reynolds to Jack Black

I'm not in your guys league with math AT ALL and I frequently have to convert metric to standard for measurements almost every day, component spec sheets almost always come in the math language of the country of origin.

I audiblely laughed when I saw a part is made specifically for an American manufacturer and the drawing read 25,4mm.

Why not a shop and build living space inside.

if i was single I would buy a shipping container and build a house inside of it then put it on stilts in the back if my dads shop.

Yea I totally lied, that professor had some grad students put all the assignments together a couple years ago.

but most other assignments I’ll snip and paste on white paper

If I was a single man still, I was only going to build a shop with a full bathroom and covered parking.

I'd then still live out of a van
