Last April during lockdown I had to do some work from home for the company, the remote server access they gave me was too spotty, so they had me remote into my desktop computer at work through my laptop at home. That way I could access the server directly through my work computer. If I had to edit something, I had to do it on my work computer through my laptop 10 miles away...it freaking sucked lol.

anything that would normally take me 5 minutes took an hour or more

When I brought it home. Front and rear lockers. Just need the switch for center lock. I'm unsure what my plans are with it. It was just too cheap to pass up.

Oh god. That sounds awful. Remote desktop is like the last resort at best.

I'm trying to debug some weird timezone issue on a box on the side of the tracks a few states away. Its so laggy that I can barely switch between windows. Maybe I should have just gone along on the trip

These stupid SPC arms are creaking like motherfuckers again, like they did before I swapped out the bushings. I wonder if the the fact that the inside of the arms had some pitting from moisture/water getting in them has already led to the new bushings getting fucked up as well. That was a waste of a couple hundred bucks on new bushings and ball joints for them.

This close to ordering a set of JBAs instead, but without SPCs adjustability to compensate for my fucked alignment issue I might be screwed. New SPCs are an option but man they're pricey now.

this truck is just one big headache lately

My driver side SPC ball joint is gone. Really need to swap out both sides but I’m staying in someone’s spare room temporarily and have all my tools and flatbed in storage.

Do you think your lower control arm or spindle is bent? Probably worth doing eimkeith LCA reinforcement and spindle gussets if you managed to bend something.

yeah I'm starting with the LCAs because the shop thinks there might be a slight bend upward where the ball joint mount is riveted into the arm, I've looked and can maybe see a very slight variation side to side but if it's there it's minimal. But that could be enough to tweak the alignment though

fortunately you can get the SPC ball joints pretty easily through Autozone, at least out here, and cheaper than what most 4x4 stores sell them for.

They're super easy to swap out too if all you're doing is the ball joint itself, but yeah you'll need the space and tools for it
