The camera seller contacted me this morning to say an internal battery used for date/time stamping pictures has failed. They took off $50 for that. So now I'm at $150.

I don't use a date/time stamp on my cell phone pics. I think I turned off the feature on one of my other digital cams. Though if I switch batteries, it will lose all of my preference settings. I can look around for a replacement cmos battery.

I have a 2000 v6 prerunner I’m getting a emission code and mass airflow code. I checked the relay solenoid on the canister and it’s working I also blew into the canister to check for leaks didn’t see anything but I replaced a few hoses. Is the another relay that I should check? I’m get a to lean code.

Jack stands are one thing, but sometimes you need to manipulate something like the rear housing like I did on both vehicles.

Used the bigger jack for the axle (I think I had suspension undone), and the smaller jack to raise one side specifically while letting the other side droop.

    Just an example.

Well it will cost $250 to replace the internal battery. Requires work on the circuit board. I guess I'll limp along with it as is for a while.

I'll need to find a schematic. The only local camera show says they mail it back to Sony for an estimate. I got hold of Sony for an estimate. There might be a cell phone repair shop locally that can do the repair with a schematic.

after looking at bike prices and accelerating my SAS parts hoarding... I ended up continuing to work on pulling the motor out of the vulcan last night.

if I wasn't so cranky these last few weeks I probably would have had it done if I just poked at it an hour or two a day.

Its hard to get moving sometimes for sure. I've definitely gone down to the garage to work on stuff, stood there for 10 minutes, then said 'naaaaah'.

I have those days too. Yesterday i was feeling restless and sat in the garage for a bit because i wasn't particularly drawn to one project. Didn't really feel like crawling around on the ground to work on the Jeep or trucks and didn't want to hit the hardware store for more drywall so the bike was it.

@Wulf don't know if I posted this already... I can get super powdercoating deals through work, here's the color spread available20210506_163921.jpg

Think I'll go with the t009-bl05. Not quite teal but so long as I prep the wheels. the shops gunna powdercoat cheaper than if I bought wheel paint and did it myself.
