I think there is something to this.
When I go to Baja I eat lots and lots of tacos (that's half the point, right?).
As long as you drink enough tequila you'll be okay.

 

Yeah I fucked up in Nicaragua and didn't do enough of the tequila part. Worst food poisoning ever. My stomach looked like a huge balloon and I was literally puking out of both ends haha. For 3 days.

Ya was a blessing and a curse that it happened at the end of our 2 weeks there. 6 hour international flight home spent mostly in the airplane lavatory. Fun

So. Went and saw my engine guy for some head work.. got to see the whole operation today. Come to find out they’re the ones that literally MAKE the AMS billet engine blocks for the GTRs. 3300hp engines... 23k for a bare block, ducking insane. Got so see one being milled out of a 400lb block of aerospace aluminum alloy...

3 engines getting rebuilt. Wouldn’t let me photo the CNC because the prototype stuff was in range

Turns out the HF 3/4" drive socket set is worth buying if only for welding to stripped fasteners

 

Old engine is out. New one needs a valve check/adjustment before I drop it in
