There is a general trend to blame California with everything that is wrong with the world. Mostly true:D. Housing prices skyrocketing, as with everything these days, has turned political which is very unfortunate.

Anytime demand outweighs supply, asking $ goes up. The biggest driver of the housing market being so completely fucked right now is materials and manpower available to build new.

Completely nuts to see my property value increase 160% in 12 months. Horrible inflation for everything else is on the way.

And that's what I was pretty much thinking even though I read about others copying the file successfully.

    Ok.

God I hate Windows; when I get back from lunch I'll see what I can do to prompt a repair without the need for a disc or usb boot.

    Probably not

    it’s 9.5 instead of 12

which is still plenty for the occasional bump out of a snow drift I think.

wonder if I can find it with synthetic

Why do you want a 12k, that's way more than you'd ever need

Being behind a snow bank or something, no leverage, etc. Would cause the angle you're working against to require a bit more pulling power no?

I'd go 10k max really though...

If it was manual... Probably lol. I'm still holding out for the perfect manual trans one but they're all 250k+ miles.
