Yeah I don't like the carrier bearing drops. Adjusting the spring perches or using shims just makes more sense to me. I prefer the bolt on solid steel shims vs the slide in slotted shims or aluminum shims.

Yeah I've heard the slotted ones can work their way out, I got the ones with new center pins that bolt on

I ask myself sometimes, how do these people function day to day?

Talking about the "Cutter" type person, that asks the same shit over and over and misses 99% of what someone tells him/her.

Unless he plans to flip the leafs on the axle he wont need to shim the rear axle.
plus to get custom dakars the arch will have to be insane for SUA.

the 5lug and 6lug is setup the same but stock pinion angle is almost flat. Even with a AAL and lift shackles my pinion angle is low. If he wants to get 6lugs level of lift he will need to swap the rear half of the drive shaft to a 6lug as well as shims. The 5lug is solid and doesn’t slide

or go SOA with a stock 6lug pack and it will be the same as a stock 6lug

    Yeah

I've found this excuse to not do shit until the new place is done.

Only to have the new place done, parts piled up in the garage, and come up with another excuse.

Since giving away my PS4 last year, I was wanting to play Death Stranding again (never finished it).

On sale on Steam so I got it and started again.
