We did we were just forced to apply it toward a higher class seating/more expensive ticket bracket for some stupid reason he couldn't explain without making me wait who knows how long for a supervisor to call me back about it.

 

Same thing sorta happened to me recently. Canceled flight in december, rebooked in march. Prices of course went up so yours truly still somehow owed money.

You'd think that on a full flight the extra $40 increase wouldn't matter if you were using a credit but apparently not.

I have my doubts as to wether or not Ill fly out to the LT meet in CA this fall. Prices are increasing by the day and my parents and sisters family are being hassled with all kinds of changed flights on their next trip.

 

Yeah the airline industry is a mess right now. Always has been but esp after 2020

Just checked its $620 for me round trip to fresno in october. I could swing that if we nailed down a date quick but im not expecting everyone to decide this far out.

 

It would be cool if we could lock down a date though... the missus is getting tired of my canned response of "during October" when she keeps asking me when
