Now that I think about it, he got me back a few years later by shooting me point blank with a paintball gun about a dozen times in the back, that sucked.

Can't imagine doing something to these trucks that would make the LBJ even more likely to fail, but I guess there's always someone willing to do something for science.

Nice, good luck putting it all together, I know the special bolts are kinda tough.

Yeah there's a ton of great little towns scattered around. Kinda gotta research them to see whats interesting. Sometimes there's a good museum or other attraction, other times its just all shopping.

Yep.. The good news is I bought it for preventative maintenance. They are likely to fail after 20+ years. A few of us have them on hand as insurance I want to change it on my terms instead of waiting for it to break in a place like Silverton CO. The newer ones seem to have been updated over the originals.

If that’s what you’re doing, I’d just change the road and key cylinder and leave the thing that goes to the steering.

I mean if I just paid for some rando's bar tab I might feel a little different than I do right now

This is a classic bad PR mitigation tactic, send your own survey that no one will ever see so the customer doesn't write a poor public review because they think they've been heard already

Finally got the aux tank feed dual circuit prototype finished.. had to go with a much larger valve so the gear pump could suck enough fluid to do its job.20210603_103159.jpg

Boss man wanted to see the unit run with the aux tank out of the system so he disconnected the tank... but left the handle in the wrong position :violent: created enough back pressure in the system to blow up the hydraulic filter:smack:20210603_122430.jpg

New one on the right for comparison
