No, what I mean is she didn't have pet insurance way back then.

She got it for him afterward, but in combining some costs and cutting expenses, I went ahead and got him switched over to Embrace.

Nice to pair things and save money here and there like Amazon Prime, Netflix, and other stuff that over time, adds up.

Yeah I would think with dogs especially it would be necessary, since they're outside often and play with other dogs and what not. Indoor cats don't see much in the way of danger lol. Harley ate an earplug once, that's about as dangerous as his life has gotten. But when they get old, age starts to do its thing no matter if they are indoor or outdoor...$$$

Maybe that's what that correctional facility call was all about, getting inmates to sell pet insurance? Maybe I should have picked up

Cst insurance for an elderly cat is about 30 bucks a month, I bought it for the wife's cat and it pays itself back every year (so long as you need to take em to the vet lol)

Few days ago I got 3 calls in a row from a 1800 number, didn't pick up. Looked it up on google and it was to a correctional facility somewhere in CA. Voicemail said an inmate was trying to reach me, I'd need to accept charges for it to go through. Don't know WTF that was about lol. I don't know anyone in prison. Maybe some kind of scam, who knows

Do you actually take them to the vet or do you do the ol' Old Yeller thing out back?

I mean cause that sounds pretty much like a death sentence

Took him to the vet, they only get hurt if they’re good dogs.

You cant exactly put a cast on a dogs head, so he just got a couple weeks off.

The old yeller thing only happens to shit dogs, doesn’t happen often.

yeah that makes sense. In the grand scheme of things it should pay off esp now that he's getting old and more tests will likely be needed as time goes on.

I had a friend several years ago with an English Mastiff, that dog was fucking HUGE. And lived in a small apartment downtown. One day he come home from work and his sock and underwear drawer was pulled out, socks and underwear all gone. Dog ate them all, barfed up them all except for his snowboarding socks. Had to pay nearly $10k for the surgery lol.

    Fuck that...

That's just it, we can't watch our pets 24/7.

A kid, you can just hope they do the right shit, but a pet? The boredom and anxiety is real and depending on the breed, could get real destructive.
