Yeah, I'd prefer to just load a config haha. But maybe I'll take the pan off and see what can be done, I swear the kickdown is adjusted properly. But maybe it needs to go on another hole in the carb lever, maybe the ratio is bad on the pull.

I'd feel kinda bad putting a hole in the floor, but it would make it more fun. We have another one of his projects, a 56 Chevy that we're putting a Muncie 4 speed in, right behind another carbed LS, but a 6.0 this time. The Muncie is a brick, but should be good fun.

Just curious. Why not EFI for this?

Because some of us love the smell of unburned fuel :anonymous:

    I do miss it sometimes...

Wasn't my choice, I would have much preferred EFI, even if it wasn't multi port. But Stu is sorta old fashioned. Even the electronic coil pack box scares him haha. I would have cut down a harness for EFI from a truck for him if he asked. The other chevelle wagon back there is getting EFI, so hopefully he sees the benefit after we get that one dialed in.

I hated trying to tune them, constantly swapping jets and adjusting timing while on and off the dyno. Fortunately I had others more experienced than I with me.

I'd prefer to tune with a laptop.

funny enough I had a dream that I moved to a lake house and broke a RCV in the crawler on the beach. Pulled it apart and the hub gear was totally gone, no pieces or anything.

That was probably the most normal one. I feel like I slept like shit but apparently slept well enough to have had a bunch of intensive dreams

There are 3rd gen T4Rs all over the place in Bend/Redmond, OR....my brother's neighbor a few houses down even has a manual one.

Tacomas everywhere too but that's a given pretty much all over the west

That's the Central Valley; more 4Rs than Taco's.

    How's the weather over there?
