I say that every person that comes to look at my corolla.

I’m getting pretty tired of “I’ll give ya 3000 for it”

motherfuckers it’s listed at 9k and KBB values it at 10k.

I’m giving in. I put the car through caravan. If they offer more than 8 I’ll probably take it and run

Looks like the Koyorad @RattleTractor had failed as well. Fun times.

Are you sure it's the Koyorad? Mine was leaking, then I received a warranty replacement and thought that was leaking as well shortly after I installed it, but it turned out that the return hose wasn't tight enough. Once I tightened it more it sealed up and has been good ever since.
Still not sure I trust it long-term though.
See my last sentence above. Harrumph.
OMG SO FUN! You have no idea how much anxiety can come from driving around with a toasty 1KZ that's losing coolant...

Fishtail City. The back ends were too light with the 12 bolt posi-track anyway. Got to give it props for originality. Brings back some happy Olds memories.

Forgot how good looking those were. Gonna get to blow up a couple 12bolt posis soon. Most of the vehicles we have around the shop are 12bolt rear and they aren't exactly durable haha

Back when I was 16-17 years old, I had a silver on black 69 442 with a 4-speed Hurst and 12 bolt posi. So a number of us would sneak a little rubber burn out in front of HS if we got to leave early. I could only get it rolling in 1st and try to keep from breaking loose before popping 2nd. If I really got on it in 1st the rear would just spin and fishtail and go nowhere. Fun cars for times when gas was cheap.

Your dealership doesn't want it? From what I can determine dealers around here are scrambling to get any new or quality used inventory

edit: just looked and the trade in value of the F-350 is what I paid 2 years and 30k mi ago. Private party value is higher.

Of course I couldn't replace it if I did sold it, so why would I?

There are used 3rd gens on lots around here going for nearly 60k right now. It's insane

I don't envy anyone needing to shop for a used or new car these days. If I needed to I would just wait until a sane private party sale popped up.

Ya, the market here is nuts. My buddy ended up buying a new frontier. I don't blame him, less BS than a 3rd gen Taco, and you can't touch a used one for the $30k I think he paid for a new truck with 0 interest

Cept now he's out camping and asking me to teach him how to weld building coastal bumpers and sliders. I'm reminded that I'm not getting out and also my shit needs work haha

Nope. Toyota and Jeep are the only two offering new trucks with manuals anymore. If you consider the Gladiator a truck. Or the 3rd gen Tacoma one for that matter lol

Probably around then or even later, I think Dodge had a diesel manual option until 2019.

@Empty_Lord what the dealer time involved with pressing out old wheel bearings and pressing in new ones if I bring in just the spindles?

I've called my local dealer and I'm waiting for their response, just trying to get an idea if they're gunna wanna rake me over the coals or not.

I'd press em myself but I already know my press is too small
