    @Kwikvette

    When the usmc didn't send crayons on the air drop did you guys say? "Looks like we're going to starve to death."

    Or when at the armory. "What do you got for me? No crayons sir. Gawd damnit you're useless!"

    Hell yes! I couldn't believe it the first time I drove mine. I bet you can take hairpin curves a lot faster now. The 80 and 100 both use the C59- springs.

    Anything off-road is good.

    Take it for a drive on some crazy roads like this.

    Looks nice, I am lucky to have a shop I can work in as I please at a buddy's place. I would love to have my own but I need property first.

    This is taken like 1/4 of the way in and not at a wide enough angle to see how big the place really is

    Looking at that first road gives me that floaty weird feeling in my abdomen like when you're on a plane and it suddenly drops a few feet

    That looks like a great place for a project. I do most of my work in the driveway or packed in a crowded garage in the winter. I wouldn't know how to act in a garage with some space.

    And a quick "before" pic of the height, it's very noticeable in person but maybe a bit subtle in pics.

    I remember a road with dips like that not far from where I grew up. Sometimes kids would get drunk and try to fly airborne over the dips. It usually didn't end well.

    How are their shocks, I really like my KYBs but one day I might want the full range of motion of the springs

    I really like them. I have the LT IMS versions. A guy I know in Houston recently installed the MRR remote reservoir adjustable. Once he got them set, he says he loves them. I see a lot of 4Runners in Texas going with Dobinsons shocks.

    I see people talk about using stock OEM shocks and getting a Cadillac ride. That's the last thing that I want. I like a nice firm controlled ride. Not harsh but not land yacht feeling. I like to take curves fast and need a responsive shock that will keep me on the road.

    The thing I've really fallen in love with the Dobinsons about is the piston being on top with the shaft and boot on the bottom side. Off-roading around here is a sling up a bunch of little rocks.
    I would have beaten up a conventional shock body by now.

    See how the boot is on the lower side in this picture. I'm already beating the paint off of the lower control arm fronts from the rocks.

    I was thinking about that too haha. And for passengers (even more so for older ones)
    The Baja RS look like more of a go. Still high but not as rigid (I've heard they'll shave bolsters on some of em and of other folks who have done their own.)
