man I had a crazy ex who decided she "doesn't date the kind of man who wears sliders". But we were already in a relationship at that point. She fucking hid them in the back of a closet behind an old suitcase and convinced me I left them at the gym til I found them

Wtf, sliders are the best because you can wear socks and not get a toe wedgie from it like you do with regular sandals.

For whatever it's worth, the article says those weren't fireworks in the truck. They were some sort of "improvised explosive device."

"Mystery explosive" is still 100% within the job description; just trying to keep the story straight.

I'm going to try option 4 from now on

I hate being barefoot around the house, get all kinds of crap on my feet no matter how often I vacuum. With a toddler and two cats there is always stuff on the floor lol. And half the house is hardwood so it sticks to bare feet.

I wear out socks quickly as a result

Wait, you don't have slides just for the house?

One lives inside the 4R for beach days, etc.

One lives in the house cause we don't wear shoes inside.

One lives in a pack for camping, etc.

I get you on the 'always stuff on the floor' part. Bronx can only vacuum up so much

What's crazy though is they didn't test the content of the explosive itself.

Depending on how much was used, and what it was comprised of, could've given real bomb squad an idea of how big of a blast said IED's could've caused.

I just wear socks around the house, throw slides on if I go outside. I don't like having shoes on inside either lol.

Yeah with hard floors too nothing gets hidden like in carpet. Although thats also a downside for carpet after awhile.

Reminds me we need to rent a carpet cleaner from Home Depot and deep clean that son of a bitch in the bedrooms

Socks collect pet hair though :pout:

I actually have to lint roll my socks if I put shoes on when leaving the house lol I'll wear socks only too but like you said, they wear down quickly.

It's a lesser of two evils really. My wife's the opposite, she goes barefoot around the house and I've seen the bottom of her feet, no thank you

yup, i mop and sweep every morning. Also usually vacuum in the evening from all the hair and debris.

Or else if you're barefoot you'll end up looking like the feet from those grimmie girls during hs who always wore flip flops
