Haha no wife's a pilates instructor, there's a lot more exercise in it than most yoga. I went a few times when we started dating but uh, yeah...haven't done it in awhile now

I make that now and can barely afford to live in semi-rural Texas.

I guess it's just the major cities up in the PNW that have a stupid cost of living? Portland, Seattle, Boise, etc. all seem terrible.

I'm just complaining because an oil boom a few years ago killed our rental/housing market and they just never recovered. My buddy is a game warden in oilfield country and the only house he could find was $2800 a month. He's in a roach infested apartment for now that's around $900.

Boise's not that bad, Seattle really isn't either but it is a big city on a scale unlike Boise. You couldn't pay me to live in Portland anymore though. I live well out of the way of a largish city, Spokane... But it's really just a rural community with lots of spread out stuff and a couple of hospitals and some larger buildings that they call a big city. The topography is pretty neat around here, I'm very much isolated from the city and any big city activity but I'm not overly far from it.

Didn't realize how spread out Spokane was jeez. Twice the population density and similar square mileage compared to where I'm at. But more suburbs and rural population out of the city limits it looks like.
