I have not... Hmmmmm. I did the motor mounts but other bushings are probably on their way out too.

Yep we're 25 years here. My Tacoma will be there in 2026, if I still have it that'll be cool.

I'm reasonably sure that I'll have the Tacoma and 100 in 2024 when they turn 25. Both should go for more than 10 years without much attention.

The Tacoma I suspect will be around until it's way over 30 -- maybe 40.

That's my hope as well. Zero reason to sell it. (I do wish I had a garage though, salt air doesn't help anything)

 Once I get all of the 100 parts out of the garage, the Tacoma goes back in. I'm getting closer every day.

Nice. (Hopefully one day I'll get a place with more space, doesn't look likely while the market is high though)
How much is left on the 100? Gotta be getting close...

We used to have a rolling window of 25 years for collector plates til they changed the law saying only 1975 and older vehicles were included. Strange to say there are so many 80s and 90s collector vehicles that don't qualify

I wouldn't wanna use my setup if it looked that good.

There was a proposed change like that here. It turned out that some tri-five Chevy owners in a position to change the rules didn't like the idea that cars built before 1971 were eligible for antique plates. The Japanese owners (read LC) got into an uproar. I didn't care for tri-five Chevys before that happened and now I really don't like them.. LOL

Same for me. I've got one of those Hurrican tailgate conversion kits in the garage waiting to be installed. Will work on it when I return from CO.

Part of my aversion to tri-five Chevys came from seeing too many running up and down the roads that looked like this when they were common cars. Maybe with a little less rust.

They didn't handle very well, brakes would fade like crazy, no AC, tube type radios that didn't work, 265 V8s with chronic lifter tick.

People would get drunk and wrap them around a tree.

I remember 4 families in my area that had wrecked tri-fives in their back yards.

I've done a mod or two
I have zero interest in them, but of course one of the ones I'm currently hired to wire and have already beefed the frame for is a 1956 Chevy 210... I just think the body styling is boring and they're not really a performance chassis

Trans still doing its fun 200°+ around town and my RPMs are a little worse now. Slowly off a stoplight at a very slight incline this morning it was over 3k in the 20s and wouldn’t settle into gear. Shop has an opening on Monday so I’m going to see what they say, they have to look at it anyway since it’s making a loud hum after they just worked on the A/C.
I used to get annoyed by this stuff but since the other year when I decided I’m not selling it my attitude about it is better.
